Domestic Medium Hair - Small - Baby - Female - Cat - Lucky Wishb
Description
Update 10/19/09... Lucky wants you to know... "I've been doing so well since I got better from the medication I was on! You'd never ever know I was FeLuk positive! I just love people, and can hardly get enough lovin' and snuggling! I'd sure like to meet you if you're someone who will take a chance on a FeLuk + kitty, 'cuz I can live quite a long time with this, and I'dlove to spend mylife with YOU!"............................................................................................................................................................ * { font:inherit; } HELP! I'M FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE!I was rescued near the Wishbone cafe on 18th Street in Waterloo, IA. When found,I was malnourished and suffering from an upper respiratory infection. My eyes were swollen and almost matted shut, my nose was running and crusty and my ears were so dirty and they itched terrible! That's when my guardian angel Ashley appeared. She was kind enough to take me home and try to find someone to help me. I'm sooooo thankful to her. She took me to TigeraCat Rescues. I do my best to purr loudly and rub against every human hand so everyone knows just how happy I am to be alive!TigeraCat Rescues gave me a bath, cleaned my ears, gave me medicine for my eyes, ears, & nose, a clean, comfy, safe place to sleep, fresh litter, and lots of food and water. I know I'm in good hands now! Hopefully, all will go well and I'll get better so I can find my furr-ever home. I'm SURE I'll be able to sweet-talk my way into somebody's heart!UPDATE 08/20/2009: I went to the vet today cuz I just wasn't feeling well and we got some bad news. I tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV), and it's weakened my immune system. Now we know why I just didn't have the normal kitten energy. They almost had me euthanized but I purrrrrrred my way out of that one! Doc says I might pull through with some help, so it was decided to let me try. I'm in a special cage set up with a vaporizer, my prescription food, kitten milk, food, and litter. I'm on 4 different oral meds and 1 in my eyes. I'm by myself right now, so I don't catch anything else that can make me sick. I sure hope we can raise the money to buy my medicines.I'm gonna fight really hard! I just can't see not being with such great humans! Oh, please, SPONSOR me or donate to TCR today and help them pay for what I need.PS...If I'm not adopted, I'll have a permanent place to live with other Felv kitties like me at a 'Sanctuary'. So, either way, I get to live!!!!!!ADOPTION FEES: TigeraCat Rescues does not charge a flat adoption fee. Average Fee is $45-75.
