**PLEASE GO TO OUR HOME PAGE TO FILL OUT THE ONLINE APPLICATION! I can email one also if requested. Home page: www.wpr.petfinder.comApple was living life out in the cold as a stray back on Feb 14th, 2008. Employees at the nearby store were worried about her due to the cold weather. Waverly Pet rescue came and got her and now she is in a foster home. She is up-to-date on shots, FIV negative, and spayed. Apple is about two years old. She is a smaller cat with unqiue markings on her nose. She is shy at first but once she gets to know you, she loves to be petted, will rub up against you, and purr purr purr. Apple is a pretty cat and once she gets comfortable she likes to lay on the couch. She is a little timid around kids and around dogs, but does well with the other cats. Apple just take a little while to trust, but she is a very sweet girl. 7/27/09 UPDATE: We have had Apple for over a year now, She would really love a home! Apple is a sweet kitty. She loves to be petted and to rub up against you. She is not a lap kitty and does not want to be held. But she is super friendly once she gets to know you. She is also a cat that does not like to be petted on her belly. Some male cats like their bellies rubbed, and will purr and relax demanding tummy scritches. This is personal taste, a little more popular with males than females. Some pregnant female cats like belly rubs because a human can help shift the kittens around gently to make her more comfortable. If she allows this during pregnancy she may allow tummy rubs later on. However, the first instinct a cat has about laying on its back pointy side up is "Let's play!" It is a basic opening move in Cat Fu, it allows teeth and all four paws into the game. The move is to bite and grab with forepaws, then bicycle kick hard with hind claws to disembowel the prey -- which may be your arm. hehe Will someone please adopt Apple and give her a forever home? $25.00 adoption fee. (we have had her since February 2008, lower cat adoption fee so we can try and finally get her a real home) **PLEASE GO TO OUR HOME PAGE TO FILL OUT THE ONLINE APPLICATION!
