He is growing up in foster care and would love a real home! He is now neutered, has all shots, was dewormed again, checked and treated for ear-mites and fleas all on Aug 21st. please please email now to adopt Buttercup! What a deal for only $50. Buttercup's mother was a stray. A kind family fed her and would sometimes let her into their house. When they noticed someone had set traps out to catch the strays in their neighborhood, they deciced they better find someone to help her so she didn't end up in the trap and hurt or killed. The mother and Buttercup are now with the Waverly Pet Rescue and in a volunteer home. He will be up-to-date on shots on May 11th when he is 7-weeks-old. He will be available to adopt on May 11th. Please email now for an application. Buttercup will be 7-weeks-old on May 11th. He is very playful and fun to have around. He will be a great family pet! The brothers still need a home and they are Buttercup and Houdini. UPDATE 7/13/09: Buttercup is now 4 months old and would love a forver home of his own or even to share with Houdini his brother!!! All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. If you have assault, domestic abuse, or drug charges please do not apply. If you have questions, please send an email to Email Waverly Pet Rescue at the bottom of this page. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters. Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each cat we take in. $150 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the kitty had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office. (Ear mite treatments $15, medicine for kitty cold and runny eyes $20, Distemper and rabies shots $25, Flea treatment $25, Spay / Neuter $65 - $120, etc, etc)
