Montana comes to us as a stray from NW Cedar Rapids......along with his pal Bowser. Montana was very protective of his friend when first arriving at the shelter. Now that he trusts us he has become most affectionate and is quickly becoming a favorite with the employees that care for him. We are very unsure of his breed but know that he is a young adult-about one year old. He is housebroke and very good on a leash. His favorite thing to do is wrestle with Bowser.......but also loves his volunteer friend to take him to the exercise yard. Ideally, someone will open their home to both of these dogs as they are quite bonded to each other.........altho this is not required. You can meet this great dog at 2109 North Towne Lane NE..you will find him playing with Bowser. * If the dog/puppy you select has not been spayed or neutered...you will be required to have this surgerydone at your expense. This will be explained at the time of the adoption. .* We always prefer that our animals go to indoor homes.*OWNING a pet is a life time commitment!
