His time was up so the Waverly Pet Rescue took him in. We are paying to board him right noe because we are full. We couldn't just let him die. Please email if you can foster Dexter. He is up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative, and neutered. We pay all vet bills. The foster home provides an indoor home, love, food, and water. Dexter is about 2 years old. He is a friendly little guy at only about 12 pounds. He is loves all attention from people he can get. He gets along well with other dogs. He does have a small case of ringworm on his nose. The vet where he is staying has been treating it every day. It has not gotten any worse and should be cleared up soon. He seems to be housetrained because the vet says he does not mess in his kennel. He is a sweet boy just looking for someone to love him. Will someone please adopt or foster Baxter? We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. If you have assault, domestic abuse, or drug charges please do not apply. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
