Waverlly Pet Rescue is full and not able to take him in yet. He can stay with the owners until we have an opening. Or even better would be if he can get adopted. Please email now for an application. Luther is up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative, neutered, and housetrained. Luther is about 5 years old. He weighs about 50 pounds. He is such a enjoyable dog. He loves to play, loves baths,loves to go on walks, loves riding in the car and loves kids. He has a friendly personality, very lovable and likes to give kisses! He is a very good watchdog. One of Luthers favorite things to do is to play frisbee. He also likes to go hunting whenever possible. He is a happy, friendly dog that just wants love and attention. He loves to go on walks and loves to run. Luther would really be best in a home with a fenced in yard so he can run around all he wants. He loves to go for car rides! He is wonderful with other dogs and adores children. He does tend to chase cats so if you have a cat, needs to be one that is not afraid of a dog and can put Luther in his place. And then once he warms up to them, he seems to be ok with cats. He is really good with people, gets excited when he is around someone and wants to lick them, or try to get attention. He wants to be your best friend! He has a special blanket that he likes to sleep on in his kennel. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. If you have assault, domestic abuse, or drug charges please do not apply. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
