Description
When Dusty was just a baby, some heartless human broke her rear leg, tossed her outside in the snow, and called Animal Control to come get her. She came to us, and when we took her to the vet, it was decided that the leg had already fused in the position it was, and that it would be much harder on her to try to fix it than to just let it be. Unless you knew about this, you would never think she had had anything happen to her. She gets around as if nothing was ever wrong, and it doesn't bother her in the slightest. Dusty is a little distrustful of people- can you blame her?- but she has a ball we gave her that she loves to play with. She will roll it around with her nose for hours on end. She really enjoys her other toys, too, but the ball is clearly her favorite. If you are interested in adopting Dusty (and her ball) please e-mail us at At_Risk_Animals@yahoo.com.
